The best place to look for your next garment to knit might be in your closet! If you copy something that flatters and fits and that you love to wear, it pretty much guarantees that what you knit from it will flatter and fit and become a much-worn garment.

Materials Needed ~ Measure it, Draft it, Knit it

Pencil, paper, eraser, measuring tape, calculator, the garment you wish to copy, homework swatch.

Knit Swatch - With your chosen yarn, work at least a 4" x 4" swatch in the stitch pattern you'd like to use. Steam press the swatch, if the fabric or stitch pattern allow: otherwise, wet block.
